Case Study: Joint Banner Project Fulfills Chamber of Commerce Objectives
Challenge: Banner and banner stand needed in less than 24 hours. From the moment the Hopewell Prince George Chamber of Commerce representative walked into Mark Bric Display’s showroom until their scheduled event there was less than a 24-hour time period. The Hopewell/Prince George Chamber of Commerce (HPGCC) needed a display and fast. They had all the graphic and font elements at their disposal, however, they did not have an in-house designer available to help them pull it all together into a visually appealing, attention-getting and informative banner display in the allotted time frame.
Solution: Graphic designers at Mark Bric Display worked expediently and creatively with the given logos and font packages to create a visually clean uncluttered Campaign Budget banner display layout in the appropriate print ready format. Graphic technicians then printed and assembled the unit, and this time, as an added local business bonus, the Campaign Budget banner stand was hand delivered.
The iconic phrase, “If you build it, he will come”, from the movie Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones (an icon in his own right), has reached cult classic proportions. To Mark Bric Display that phrase has come to mean that sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and believe that putting effort into a project will in the end make it a success. You have to put in the work before you see the fruit of your labor. You must be passionate and willing to invest time and effort toward the goal. And sometimes, like in the movie field of dreams, to accomplish said goal you need a little bit of help even when things look impossible.
Certainly, constructing a baseball diamond in the middle of a cornfield is more exhausting and complex than creating a banner for a banner stand, but when it needs to be done in a rush, it is always good to have someone on which you can rely for quality and deadline sensitive work. The Hopewell Prince George Chamber of Commerce (HPGCC) got to put into practice the fine art of collaborative work when they needed a banner designed, printed and delivered to site in less than 24 hours.
One of their goals as an organization is to create connections. I am sure the HPGCC’s key players were glad that Mark Bric Display was an available local connection to draw upon for this particular project. President Ed Marquez confidently expresses, “With the wealth of resources and trade show and exhibit design market talent Mark Bric possesses, we are a go to choice when you need excellent products, top-notch service and rapid turn-around time”.
The HPGCC strives to “Provide Solutions” and “Develop Leaders” within the community. This project showed HPG Chamber that Mark Bric is a key player in providing solutions for all size projects, not just their industry leading large custom trade show exhibit and display work.
On this project, Becky McDonough, CEO, Hopewell/Prince George Chamber and Visitor Welcome Center remarked, “Mark Bric associates helped us refine the message and the slogan we selected. “Bring on the Business” is one that suits the chamber and Mark Bric. They are a true partner for us and for all their customers. When we interact with them we come away stronger every time. How many vendors have that culture?” All of Mark Bric Display’s projects, big or small, get that personal touch. In Mark Bric’s book, that is what leaders do – provide quality customer attention to all of their clients. Ed Marquez, President of Mark Bric Display, put it this way, “We strive to not just cultivate client relationships, but to engender raving fans that are so happy with the results of their interactions with us that they not only keep coming back, but will also enthusiastically recommend us to others they encounter that need banners, trade show exhibits and display products as well.”
Many businesses have dreams and goals and just need a little help to achieve them. Mark Bric Display wants to be one of your partners in achieving your business goals and dreams, whether they are big or small and whether we have a long time to complete them or you need them…yesterday. In the world of intelligent exhibiting, we have a great family of dependable display products for you. As long as it is not a baseball diamond in the middle of a cornfield, “if you can envision it, we can do it!”.
