All for One and One for All: FIL-TEC’s ISOframe Trade Show Exhibits

CASE STUDY: FIL-TEC Trade Show Exhibits – All for One and One for All

Create an affordable and versatile group of trade show displays for FIL-TEC’s three different sized exhibit spaces while maintaining consistent branding throughout multiple show venues. In addition, provide FIL-TEC assistance managing the exhibits pre and post show to ease their involvement with trade show logistics.

Mark Bric Display ISOframe wave components were selected, mixed, matched, reconfigured and used in several exhibits. A 10’ x 30’, a 10’x 20’ and a 10’x 10’ were produced to create stunning visual impact without losing branding consistency. Significant cost savings were achieved by selecting the ISOframe system for all trade show opportunities. Mark Bric Display exhibit store and ship services were implemented to minimize FIL-TEC ’s time and man-power investment for exhibit logistics.

FIL-TEC, manufacturers of sewing threads and high-performance industrial yarns made from polyester, polypropylene, polyamide and glass fiber, came to Mark Bric Display with a request for exhibit and display design for a varied and busy trade show schedule.  FIL-TEC’s show locations crossed the continental US and sometimes the schedule consisted of show dates that were almost back to back.

Mark Bric spoke with FIL-TEC to understand their trade show schedule, contracted exhibit booth sizes, product display needs and budget requirements. FIL-TEC shows had varying audiences so subtle changes to booth messages were required and needed to be easily and quickly accomplished since the show schedule was fairly tight.

Mark Bric Display exhibit designers recommended FIL-Tec use one system, specifically the ISOframe wave and related accessories, for its three booth sizes. Being consistent with ISOframe for the 10’ x 30’, 10’x 20’ and 10’x 10’ required display sizes, lowered graphic expenses by reducing design, layout and creation timelines as well as increasing graphic interchangeability. Over time, using and re-using the ISOframe easy set-up framework also saved time in exhibit installation because booth staffers were familiar with ISOframe’s simple tool-free assembly and had only one, not three, trade show exhibit system’s mechanics to learn for each show’s set-up and tear down.

As part of the exhibit ship and store process, our expert exhibit creation team assembled the FIL-TEC display in the warehouse, as shown below, before it ever went to their first show.

The in-warehouse set-up process is repeated each time the booth returns from a show and is prepped for storage to ensure each FIL-TEC exhibit has returned from the show complete. The process is repeated again, before shipping the exhibit out to the next show. Checking that every piece is accounted for and all graphics are in good condition, eliminates unwanted surprises when it arrives to the convention floor.

The modular functionality of ISOframe wave gave each FIL-TEC booth a custom appearance at a fraction of expected cost for creating three individual stand-alone displays. The end result was three different sized, easy-to-use, self-build, custom modular displays that exceeded expectations for allotted budgets.
