TRADE SHOW SEASON SMARTS
Some consider the fall to be official trade show season. Maybe the powers that be should issue customer & lead hunting licenses. At the very least, there should be a prerequisite planning course required so that the average person goes into this busy, and potentially lucrative, “season” well informed and as prepared as he or she can be so that the stress of it all does not get the better of them. Over the next few weeks this blog spot will highlight some needed skills and helpful tips to make the puzzling world of trade shows more profitable and hopefully a bit more enjoyable. Remember you cannot plan a show overnight – well, at least not and expect it to be a success. Most professionals will spend the better part of a year planning and working toward a successful trade show event. As a review here is a timeline of things you need to get done before each show date. So budget your planning time wisely! Next week, as we continue our Trade Show Season Smarts series, check back here for a few tips on selecting the trade show that is perfect for your audience.
